Summer holidays with your dog?

What are you planning on doing with your dog(s)? Are you taking them on holiday? Are you going to the beach? Are you spending your Summer hols with them or playing with your friends? or both?

have your holidays started yet? We're still waiting here in the UK :( booo!!!!

I'm actually quite shocked at how quickly 1st year has flown in :( But now I can spend it with my lab!

Actually, this weekend, Roc and Stella are going with my parents to spend some time at their lake house. I wonder if they'll miss me between all the swimming and sunning, and the cheeseburgers my dad will inevitably feed them even though I specifically ask him not to.Summer holidays with your dog?
Going to Corfu for a week and Kye will be staying round my friends house!

And while I am stuck here in the UK we shall be going to the beach and nice long summer walks.



Well I don't have school anymore just exams and my last is on June 24th. Wohooo!
I'm up north in the U.S. so I have about 3 weeks to go. I'm actually getting my dog on Saturday!!!!! (so excited) And we have to go to Maine for an event without our dog :( and our neighbors and friends are taking care of the dog for the 1.5 days we'll be gone. I am hoping to go the beach and go on a dog hike and picnic with some friends with one of the rescue groups we were approved at. I hope to spend the whole summer with my dog!!! Maybe some long weekends with the dog!
we are taking our 2 wheaton terriers in our motor home with our kid and going camping. Can't wait. We are staying in the province, BC because the price of gas is wicked right now. Is it summer yet?
Well, on the 15th of this month, we're taking the puppy and going to the beach to pick up my half-brother (he lives with his mom). Then, at the end of the month, we'll be going to New Jersey to pick up my cousin (she's coming down to go to college next year) and we'll be taking the doggies with us (What a carload! Glad I have an SUV!) =]



Then in August, we're going to go camping in Myrtle Beach with all the doggies for 2 weeks =]



Yes, my holidays started in May, hahaha =]



We'll be spending the majority of our time with the dogs, but we are thinking about planning a ';get a way'; weekend, for just me and hubby, before we both go back to school, in September =]
i am hoping to get another dog as mine died at xmas but we usually took her with us but it was too stressful for her so we put her in kennels
I am so jeloius of you! I wish I could take my dog anywhere. He's old and cranky now. He can bite. He get's beat up by other dogs. I love him so much, I need to keep him home. In his younger days I could take him fishing, he loved that!! He loved to swim in the river. - Camping - My dog still get's to go to the lake with us (it's a private beach)
this is the first year hubby and I are getting a real vacation without kids/dogs. our sons are 19,24,25. dogs are 11, 5,2 and 2 are 8 weeks old. the pups are going to grandma's for 10 days. the older dogs are staying here with 2 of our boys. OMG 10 days (our 25 anniversary). But i'll make it up to everyone when we get home cause I took 3 weeks off work

We just build a fence for our backyard. Now are little puppy can run all he wants in safety and at home! I might take him to the beach or to visit family and he'll meet them and get to stay in his first hotel room. No concrete plans as of yet.



I am not taking a holiday this year so yeah...we fit in time on our weekends!
I'm working all this summer, though as i work shifts i can get a good few days off in one go so i may go camping in the New Forest or take a trip down to the Devon coastline..



Basically all most if not all of my time off gets spent with the dog and training, showing etc etc..



Sometimes i wish i was a teacher so i would get lots of time off in one go, or be back at school again..
