Enroll in obedience training, teach him ';quiet,'; and use that when he barks at your dad. Have your dad give the dog treats for quietly approaching him.How to calm down your dog from barking too much?
He more than likely will not stop barking because he might just be afraid of males. Have you had this puppy since he was a baby? If not that might mean he was abused as a puppy.
Is it a happy yell or not. I have a puppy when she is with me shell bark at man and not women i guess because he is a male. Great advice is given in this guide and you will learn a lot more than just barking non stop so go and visit this site you will find great advice there

You really do not need to spend hundred of dollars to train your dog
He likely associates you dad with someone in his past who may have mistreated him. Once your new dog spends some time around your dad and realizes you dad isn't going to mistreat him, he'll probably calm down and accept your dad as a friend and trust your dad more. Hope this works out for everyone.

every time your dad walk into the room, and your dog barks, take her out of the room. put her in the bathroom or another closed off space. when she is quiet for 3 seconds, you can let her back into the room. this will take time, but it works.
Hi,

Training your dog to bark less (you will never stop it altogether) is a time-consuming process. Also keep in mind that some breeds are more apt to bark than others and these could prove more difficult to train. Here are more tips:

Buy some dog biscuits that it loves, and when it does something good give it a pat and a biscuit.

When it does something bad look at in the eyes and say firmly, ';no!';

To stop it barking maybe just do the same thing, say, ';no!'; and put it in a small room for 2 minutes or something...

Hope I was help :)
Spank your dog but not too hard so he'll know that what he's doing is not right. That's what I am always doing when my dog is barking too much at night.
