Hi there...
I have a 5 year old Labrador Retriever she is a wee bit overweight... she weighs 45 to 50 kg's and we walk and exercise almost every day i even have a nice diet food for her but i was wondering how much food to give her like 1 cup or 1 and a half or what? PLEASE HELP!!
:)
P.s do you have any games that you play with your dog that you can share with me? that would be great fitness games by the way!How much food to feed my Labrador Retriever...?
On the back or side label of your Dog's food you'll see a feeding chart. Find the section that indicates your dog's weight, next to that it'll show how many cups to feed your dog. Since your Dog is overweight you will have to feed her less than what the chart says. And limit the treats if you do reward her with them. I think the best thing to do would be changing the food to lower calorie products. Here's a video that would be very helpful for you. http://www.monkeysee.com/play/1362-dog-c鈥?/a>
For games, I would suggest Frisbee or make her fecth a ball. Take your Dog for walks more often either at a park or around your block.
P.S. Before making any changes, Contact your Veterinarian first! Just to be sure of your Dog's diet. How much food to feed my Labrador Retriever...?
Feed her the amount of food for the weight you want her to be. Go by the package. Try frisbee or the dog park.
