How do you teach your dog to chase birds and other animals quietly?

my dog chases birds all day, she thinks it's her job like herding sheep or something, i've tried everything i can think of to keep her entertained, but even when i go out and play with her the moment i turn my back to pick up a toy or something she's off after the birds again, she just loves it.

so does anyone know how i can teach her to do it quietly?

she seems to bark most when the birds are in the trees and she can't get to them but she wants to chase them

its natural instince maybe, becuase they come from wolves

and its in their selection
