Hey. I just got a puppy...he's 3 months old, so he's new to everything! I'm just worried that I wont be able to keep him happy. I mean, yeah, I play with him, and he runs around and acts silly....we have a good time together. So how do I make sure that never stops? And how will I know for certain that he's happy? How do you know when your dog is...?
dogs that get daily walks are the happiest! remember that its not natural for a dog to be behind walls ALL the time. if he gets love and adequate exercise and games you have nothng to worry about. dont forget about socialization too. puppies like to be with others of their own kind :)How do you know when your dog is...?
if you love him and show him attention, and feed him healthy he will be happy
a dogs tail is up when they are happy. If it is down or between there legs there is something wrong. There ears also perk up when they are happy. But if it's ears are back laying down and his hair on his back is standing up, he is angry so watch out. If the dogs tail is wagging, he is very happy. Hope this helped.
If he cries alot maybe he just misses his parents?
If u bouqht him from a family that someone else owns
but just take him/her outside daily.feed him of course.
buy him toys you think he'll love,%26amp;%26amp;ndd well just play
alott with him.(:
Well when a dog is happy they will be wagging there tail, and if he wants to be happy he will bother you or something, But to make sure he stays happy play with and and maybe you can give him a bone, And also always make sure you feed him and give him water, also make sure your bring him outside to go well you know, And stay out there with him Puppies always run away when there little.
Dogs need lots of time and socialization. Mostly your dog needs you. Never leave him chained and don't leave him alone for more than 4 hours at a time tops. Never tease, never abuse. Play nice. Establish rules of play that he can learn to trust and never break those rules. Be consistent with training. If you decide he is not allowed ____ then don't allow ____. Stop all activity and play when the undesired behavior is displayed. Turning your face away and stopping all physical touch is more effective than physical correction. Dogs know body language well, so talk to your dog with your body language, he will understand better.
Make sure you feed it, walk it regularly, love it, care for it, be nice to it, all the things you would do if you had a baby.
Just...wow this is kinda hard to explain.
Don't be mean to him, put him first, love him, play with him.
A dog asks 3 simple things, and it will be happy.
Food.
Shelter.
LOVE.
=)
are you gone often? like at work, is he by himself all day? if so, you should get him a companion, that doesn't necessarily mean another puppy, but maybe a cat or a bunny or something. just someone else to share the house with while your out. :-)
and it's true that when a dog's tail is up he's happy, but just take note that when it's stiff and wagging kind of roughly and his ears are perked, he could be in an aggresive state and you just need to tap his side or turn his head the other way so his attention is off of whatever he's fixated on. but other than that, feed him, play with him, be firm in discipline (NOT ABUSIVE) and teach him things, and he'll be a happy lil guy for a very long time. as long as dogs are stimulated, they'll be just dandy! ;-)
Next time your pup needs a bath, focus on giving him a massage while you鈥檙e working the shampoo into his coat. Take him out for a drive once each week and dress according to the weather so you can open a window and let his head hang out, his ears flapping in the breeze. Your pup lives by food! It drives every thought he has, every impulse in his body. But you鈥檙e more rational, you know that food needs to be both delicious and nutritious to make sure he has as long and happy a life as possible. Why not try making some homemade treats and dog food that are absolutely packed with all of the vitamins and nutrients he needs? Bake him a delicious, healthy cake for his next birthday, then share a few cookies with. Love him and show him affection, and trust in him, let him sleep in your bed. Now that is showing love! Teach him to do tricks and he will love you for it. Pup's just love to please you, so if you please him, then he will most certainly be the happiest pup on Earth. Always and everyday tell him, look into his eyes and say I love you, and he will know. Because he is the closest thing to family as it comes.
