Has your dog ever tricke you before?

My dog has he did this only once though my dog and I were playing catch when I threw the ball he ran towards but couldnt find it he was like 2 feet away from it and he looked everywhere even dug a hole. I shrugged and ran to get it then he ran at full speed and got the ball before me and gave it to me with a weird doggy smile and laughed it sounds like how humans laugh but more doglike and has no vowels.Has your dog ever tricke you before?
Yes...and this will probably gross you out, but it's the honest truth. When my oldest dog was very little and still learning to use the potty outside, he REALLY wanted to please me, because he would get a treat when he did it right. This one time I didn't get him out fast enough and he poo-ed on the carpet. Before I knew what was going on, he dug in and started eating it, and I caught him in the middle of his task. The vet told me he was ';just trying to hide his mistake';. Lol

It had to be just the thought of the treat that made him do that, because I have never used punishment when any of my dogs made a mistake. To this day, he is the one that reminds me about the treats after he goes out, and he will not let up barking at me until he gets it.Has your dog ever tricke you before?

My dog will just lay on it and pretend she doesnt know were it went.
Ah yeah. We have 4 dogs, 2 Labs, 2 goldren Retreivers. We have a puppy Retreiver, And his fav thing is obvoiusly Cathing balls. He always pretends that hes lost it when he has it in his mouth. Hes always silly. Say if im sat on the sofa watching tv, If i bend down to get something, And as soon I relax back. Hes there!



Whenever he wants me to throw something for me, He carrys as much toys as his gob can handle. And he doesnt drop them so that i can throw them :(
Not sure if this is what you mean, but mine will occasionally run up to me like he's giving me the ball, and at the last minute turn his head and run off so I can't take it from him. I certainly seems like he's trying to tease me, as if I really want that slimy nasty ball!!!
so you mean he laughed like that cartoon dog used to??? Well yeah, thats how dogs laugh..and yes they do play games and tricks when it comes to playing ball !!
wow soo funnyyy!! my dog will do that too! dogs can be mischeivious...my poodle mix always knows how to sneak a quick table scrap when i turn my back. dogs can be sooo funny!
lol that is really cute! i spose my dog tried to trick me into thinking she was an osterich (ahahaha). Ok, my 2 little dogs r scared of thunder storms and one happened to be coming up quickly one night.Lol i went outside to try to get them inside before they freaked and as soon as i called them and they came out of their kennel there was huge thunder above us hahaha, one of my dogs automatically stuck her head into the lawnmowing grass pile and stayed there with her body out like a little osterich ahahahah my poor baby was too scared. lol came out with a hay head when i could stop laughing and had showed my lil sistas lol
Not me but... My sister has 2 poodles. One has a little chair he likes to lay in. He started to get in it one day and the other dog was in it already.The first dog stood there a minute. He then ran and got a toy. He came round in front of the second one and started shaking the toy and tossing it up. The second dog jumped down and grabbed the toy and started to play too but as soon as he jumped down, the first poodle jumped up in the chair and curled up. He did it on purpose, no doubt!
Not mine, but my sister's Rottweiler has. We keep our dog food in a big bin in the entryway, and whenever anyone gets up from wherever they're sitting, he'll go running downstairs and spin around in front of the bin. If we wait long enough, he starts drooling. Even if he's had supper, he'll try for seconds. Sometimes it works.
