How do you tell wether your dog is happy?

well i have 2 boder collies one boy (named chanse) and one girl (named besse) chanse always seems happy hes always on his feet he loves being stroked he likes to play a lot and enjoys coming for walks and runs with me but! besse has always been gloomy and depressed and became overweight after she got spade and when visitors come to stroke the dogs she is still layed in the corner not wanting to be stoked (unlike chanse) and ocasionally growls when you stroke her.How do you tell wether your dog is happy?
you tell whether a dog is happy if their ears are perked up, or their tail is wagging. some dogs, are just shyer than others. besse mught just not be as social as chanse, dogs are like humans, some like to be active and outgoing, and some are more reserved, and shy.

um well you can tell if she is happy is if she wags her tail. Take her on a walk! =]
her eyes her tail her ears
well she's depressed, dogs get depressed
If the spaying was recent, she needs time to recover.



Also, if she is acting overly different, you may want to have her



checked out by a veternarian.



she may start to feel better when her stiches are removed...if she still has them.........if she doesn't have them anymore,

better have her checked out.
