are there any other games that dogs like to play that i could teach him (besides fetch haha) or maybe that your dog or pit bull likes to play? He seems bored lolMy dog (pit bull) seems bored..what games do you play with your dog?
i have a pitbull puppy too. they are very high energy dogs. i live in a third-floor apartment, so it's hard to get him a lot of exercise. when i'm inside, i play hide %26amp; seek with him, as well as tug of war. when i'm outside with him, we play fetch (lots of running back %26amp; forth will definitely tire him out).
if he still seems bored, i would suggest taking him for daily long walks or jogs. also, try taking him to a dog park. he will be able to run around %26amp; play with other dogs in a large fenced-in area. my dog is always super tired after a few hours at the dog park. by chasing other dogs %26amp; playing with other dogs, he gets a lot more exercise than i can ever give him by playing with him around the house. My dog (pit bull) seems bored..what games do you play with your dog?
Walk, walk, walk...It'll burn energy and make the dog calmer. Then the playing you do already could be enough to cure the boredom if his energy level goes down. If I don't walk 2 of my 3 dogs at least two times a day- they are a huge pain in the ***. They start entertaining themselves-like chewing up stuff and jumping on furniture/chewing the molding around the house, etc...If they get the walks they are calm, sweet and affectionate. It's worth a try.
you can let him try to pull some weights. works them mentally and physically.
you can start by getting a harness and attaching a tire to that harness and go for a walk with him before moving on to doing it professionally.
teach him some tracking methods, start some weight pull training.
Mine also love their flirt pole.
Get a book called 101 dog tricks. We work on stuff out of their all the time.
Since a Pitbull is an active breed you should show him food , tell him 2 stay , hide the food then let him find it or put food on a small tree branch and let him jump for it
I like to go jogging with my dog. He enjoys the running, and then he's pooped out afterwords.
Dogs are very sent oriented. They love just going for a walk and finding new smells or something new to pee on.
teach him how to use the toilet
take it on a walk he'd like that
