How to play with your dog in runescape?

Ok, well when I tried to do this, I had a hard time picking up the dog's poopies, but if you're up for the challenge. First you must scan your dog using a real laser (its supposed to lose it's fur). Then, a box will pop up on the screen saying ';Greetings, Woof! Would you like to import your canine into the game?'; Then press yes and the dog will go in, and you can do whatever. But I haven't figured how to get it out of the game.
