How do you train your dog not to steal human food from tables, baby toys, pacifers and diapers?

My sister and her 2 kids moved back to state and is staying with me, my mom, and my 2yr old matlipoo. My sister is constantly complaining about my dog getting a hold of diapers and shredding them, getting the kids toys, and stealing food from the kids plates...and of course chewing up and stealing all the pacifers. She is a good dog and plays well but i feel she is just seeing all these things as food and toys. What is a good way to get these bad habits out of my dog?How do you train your dog not to steal human food from tables, baby toys, pacifers and diapers?
You need to take your item from the dogs mouth very quietly, calmly and softly. and give the dog its toy instead. the toy has to be of the same texture as the item he stole from you. for example if he stole a plastic bottle, calmly take the bottle away , say NO and replace with the similar plastic toy that belongs to the dog and say GOOD BOY or girl. have a few toys of different textures. so you can replace them quickly for similar one. like if he chews a wooden furniture, give him a wooden stick, if it a wire, give him something long and gummy he will then learn the difference between his things and your things.

you may have to do it 20 times in 1 go but he will give up eventually and then he will appreciate that he has his own things and they are not worse than yours actually :-)How do you train your dog not to steal human food from tables, baby toys, pacifers and diapers?
This is the sister with the 2 kids. Ever hear never assume anything cause it'll make you look like an idiot?? Miss Anne B who commented on this page is out of line with her comments. I am a 32yr old, mother that left abusive environment. Diapers are in trash! Behavior just started- been here 3mo!!!

We use a squirt bottle with water only in it and squirt them with the water. It doesn't hurt them but they hate to see us even pick up the bottle now. They know they have done something bad when the bottle comes out. This works with cats too.
First of all feed her better. Dogs fed a raw diet don't want to steal anything since they are getting the best there is. Second is most of this is the fault of the other people. Why are diapers where a very small dog can get to them? Clean up the house!

Second, train your dog using the Free Wit's End Training Manual, link below.
every time your dog does that give him a punishment like hit him on the mouth but not to hard
You don't.

You train your sister to pick up after her kids and watch them while they are eating, for heaven's sake! A dog cannot tell the difference between a kids toy and a dog toy when things are lying all over the place.

Your dog doesn't have bad habits, but your sister has some cleanliness issues.

Perfect example of a kid having kids. No clue and let's blame it on the dog.
