Dogs are juat like humans, it just depends, some dogs love to stay out in the sun for a while, and most dogs prefer stay in the shade. how would you like staying out in the sun for that long. How do you get your dog to play with you in the hot weather?
I *don't*,seein' as how I'm not interested in having them stroke out!How do you get your dog to play with you in the hot weather?
if it dosent want to play with you in hot weather leave it alone. lol. it might get heatstroke if it runs around too much in the sun!
I'm not sure there is a way. My dog looks at me as if to say '; your stupid ... as if im gonna play in this heat'; lol.
water fight !
try a toy that you can put water into and freeze... or, get a sprinkler.. dogs can get overheated easily.. i try to keep my dog out of the sun in the hot weather, and take her out for playtime at night, or dusk...
Get a water bottle feel it up with cool water pour it on your dog pla yfully then run the dog should chase you back playfully they fall on the ground and bite it's neck playfully and run again. Make sure you have a water bottle filled with water.
Try not to take it outside in boiling weather but keep it cool with fans and giving it loats of water. If it doesn't want to play then seriously leave it alone and wait for the weather to cool down.
Dont bother. Dogs will play if they want, if they are hot then they are quiet the same as us
YOU DONT! would youlike running around when its95+ degrees outside wearing a fur coat?wait till its cooler out like ear;y morning or late evenimg
Follow the cues that your dog gives you about whether it's OK to be outside.
We play in the air conditioned house. My long haired dog pants so heavily after a walk in this 90 degree heat that I don't think it's fair to her to take her out for a long period of time.
put a sausage in your pants!
i just tell my doggy we will get icee cream if he behaves lol
Limit both excercise and play in the hot weather, UK dogs are not used to this, they don't want to play. Early morning and late night walks are OK. Forget playing until it gets cooler, dogs can get heat stroke.
Um, I don't. If it's hot I let him do what he wants, i.e. lay on his bed or lay down in front of the fan, and sleep. He's elderly and gets tired.
If he does want to play we play with him in the evening when it's cooled down.
By the way, if your dog really does live outside then I hope he has adequate shade, shelter and water.
