What do you think about getting rid of TD's and what's your favorite game to play with your dog?

While I can see how the thumbs down is nice for absolutely ridiculous or dangerous answers, I pretty much think they are only used by trolls or people who don't like someones opinion. Do they really serve a constructive purpose?

We already have the ability to report someone if they aren't within the guidelines (although I'm sure more legit, honest, useful answers are reported than stupid ones) so why keep the TD? I've seen so many great questions with TD's just because people out there have something against the answerer which usually doesn't even relate to that specific question.

And, just in case, what is your favorite game to play with your dog? Or really, what is your dog's favorite game?

Fritz loves fetch, especially with a frisbee and even more in the summer when its warm enough and we can play frisbee on the beach.

I personally get the most satisfaction out of playing training games with him because I know he's learning something at the same time. I like to make him sit/stay in one room while I go hide a treat in another room and then let him go find it.What do you think about getting rid of TD's and what's your favorite game to play with your dog?
My dog (we've had for 5 weeks today) we adopted from an animal services shelter (the pound) was absolutely terrified of everything when we brought him home. He has learned a ton of stuff in 5 weeks and has improved so much.

He had no idea what toys were for when he came home, but now he LOVES them. He is still confused about fetching, but I'd say his favorite game at the moment is throwing toys up in the air, dancing around like a crazy dork and shaking his toys ';to death';.What do you think about getting rid of TD's and what's your favorite game to play with your dog?
TDs don't bother me. My dogs love to fetch anything.
I take them into consideration when asking or when reading others answers. I mean, I pretty much disregard one or two in either direction, but a bunch in either direction is usually a pretty good indicator.

I love to play catch. My lab's legs are made of springs, i swear, because he can jump about 4 ft. off the ground for that tennis ball. It's cool to watch.
I do think thumbs down is abused by trolls or people with grudges. Especially on questions about dog food, and breeding. But does the thumbs down hurt someone's score or take away points?

My dogs love any form of fetch, and I love to do nosework with them.
Hmm, I only use thumb downs if someone says something completely wrong, giving the asker the wrong infomation - I dont mean things of different opinion such as food, but things where the answer is obvious or can be easily found with a little searching, or when people answer questions they know nothing about.

I don't really care about them either way, but a lot of people give them out because of different opinions.

Charlie doesn't like many games, sometimes he likes just running around, he rarely fetches or anything like that.

Max loves fetch, well more like catch the ball, run around the yard with it, drop it, and after doing that a few times he runs to it and then runs back to me without picking up the ball XD

They both love any games involving food.
