How much would you pay to have your dog walked?

I'm thinking of starting a dog walking biz.

I looooooove dogs sooo much! and my old(16 years old) dog passed away and I miss having a dog to walk and play with!

How much would you pay to have your dog walked around the BIG lake then give him/her water food etc.

There would be 2 people and 4 dogs.

We would treat him/her like he/she was are own:)

Also we would do walks where it was ONLY your dog how much would you pay for that?

ehh...maybe $10-$20 a week contingent upon income and exercise needs of the breed.
Don't forget that as a dog walker, you need to charge enough to cover the cost of being insured.



Liability insurance is necessary to cover you in case there is a dog fight, the dog bites another person or worst case, gets lost and/killed. Most clients will expect you to have insurance to protect themselves and their pet while in your care.



You will also need to cover the cost of setting up advertising, even if it is something as simple as neighborhood fliers.



Be sure to make your costs first.
Talk to the costumer.How far would you be walking,A mile or more? I would charge $5 for little dogs and $10 for medium-large.
I walk your mom for free.
I love taking walks with my dog too but if i am super busy at work i have a neighbor kid walk him down the street a couple times for 10 bucks a day.
$10-15 dollars each time...but I probably would only want someone to do that once a week or every weekend. If it was cheap I would definately ask you to do that once or twice a week and a weekend. That sounds like a really great idea! Good luck
when i paid my neighbors daughter to walk my 2 poms i paid $40 a week n she walked them every other day when she watched my dogs on the weekend i paid her $5 a day to come n let the dogs out to potty n feed them.if it was warm she left them out n fed them outside n put them in at night.
