How can you tell is your dog needs someone to play with?
How old is Spritz? They younger she is, the more important this will apply. One very important thing to remember is border collies are high energy active working dogs that are extremely athletic. They need lots of exercise and play time. They do very well with chasing %26amp; herding games, frisbees and obstacle courses are perfect for them. If she is high energy and hyper I would not add a second dog as a playmate until you get Spritz on a regular exercise/play schedule to see how her relaxed behavior is.

Maybe you should play with her more often and then you wouldn't be questioning this.
if she sits by u alot wimpering, going crazy around u, being lazy alot
Digging, chasing her tail, chewing on the furniture, constantly ';bowing'; and shaking her back end in the air... Just walking your dog and getting rid of her natural urge to burn energy can reduce any need for a companion. For a BC, three or four 30-minute walks a day would be good. If you or a family member can't walk your dog, play fetch, or get a few chickens she can herd if you don't have anything she can herd already. If she's not from herding lines and has no instinct to herd, then forget finding something she can herd, just play fetch with her and walk her and stuff. Shouldn't you be doing this already and not asking people online how to tell if your dog needs a companion?
when she just stares at you or she just sleeps all day. i got a second dog last november and they play alot and during the day were at school so they are occupied
border collies need alott of attention...

and they love walks... sometimes i think if dont take mine on a walk,

she gets depressed,

u should take her out more often and spend more time with her
If you're not playing with her, she needs someone to play with.
